Private Teaching
Dan is a qualified teacher with and enhanced DBS certificate. He has taught a wide range of disciplines and has experience with individuals and groups from ages 4 to 80. He currently has limited lesson slots available in the following disciplines:
- Piano (beginner to intermediate)
- Acoustic guitar (beginner to intermediate)
- Ukulele (beginner to advanced)
- Music Theory (beginner to advanced)
- KS4 and KS5 tutoring (GCSE, BTEC, AS & A Level)
- Songwriting & Composition

As an experienced songwriter and composer with airplay on national radio, Dan is able to give valuable feedback and advice on your musical projects. He has gone through the process so he has a good understanding of the stages you need to go through to get results.

Vocal harmony workshops (folk songs)
Dan believes that singing with other people is one of the most rewarding activities a person can do. He has worked with a wide range of singers and styles, but his current workshops focus on traditional folk songs in simple 3 part harmony, and include practical approaches to developing your own harmony singing.
Dan thinks folk music should be as inclusive as possible, so you don't need any prior experience or knowledge to participate. Dan runs public workshops in Huddersfield, and is available for private events.

Session vocals
Dan has a lifetime of training and experience as a vocalist. His rich, authentic tone and sensitive performances have earned praise from thousands of listeners.
Since studying at university, he has lent his vocals to numerous recording projects by artists including Bad Pollyanna's Olivia Hyde. He is equally at home as a soloist or providing backing vocals.
